Beast Burden of the Cloud

I've been singing the alphabet a lot lately, and also praying for healing, strength, peace and recovery for others. Things have happened in my local little world that are hard respond to, and often, I don't know what to say. Can you relate?
|
That's a part of an artist's way: working through emotions and ideas in new and handy together materials, cryptic keys, and by designing things that can't be defined or described easily. Think collage, weaving against the pattern, making a meal with no recipe, scribbling...
|
If everything about life could be articulated in a few sentences, we'd write 10-page manuals about how to live and call it a day.
For someone from marketing and sales, I used to know what to say: to spin the terrible toward the better, promote a client's agenda, sell a concept or a ticket or a thing, enhance happiness, bring beauty forward, inform.
|
But these days, as gorgeous as things are are outside, with snowfall of little buds falling about, bright sun and green-yellow unfolding leaves, birds chirping and rivers running, I feel something is amiss.
So, I sing the alphabet my own way: by making this, and trying to articulate here the larger constructs of why.

Do you immerse yourself in nature?
|
Do you make things? Do you go to church and kneel with formality? Do you sing the alphabet out of order and out of key?

I have more questions than answers for sure, but I also have art and writings I left for myself from an earlier day. Answers at that time. Maybe they still hold true. If they don't then maybe it's time to let the alphabet loose.
